Pot holes, speeding vehicles and uneven road surfaces are just some of the hazards that can make towing a caravan or trailer a dangerous experience.
Easily fitted with no holes to drill, the 200Q will help reduce these effects. A silicon chrome leaf spring takes care of any pitching caused by uneven roads, and a friction area 10x greater than stabilser hitch heads takes care of swaying movements.
With over 250,000 past and present users the 200Q is a proven answer to staying in control.
I noticed this year that when towing on sections of the inside lane of the motorway i started to get snaking on my usually well behaved trailer. This was actually made worse by being towed by a tall 4x4 which amplified the sway. When i moved in to the centre lane there was no sway and it was pointed out to me that the rutts on the inside lane of the motorway (caused by the lorries) was what was causing this.
So with safety of the family at the front of my mind i took the advice to get a stabiliser and went for the Bulldog 200q becouse of it's ease of fitting and removal.
I already had the car bracket fitted to the towbar plate so i hitched up the trailer, fitted the stabiliser to the car and this showed where the clamp on bracket needed to be fitted to the trailer. Ten minutes later all was fitted and off for a trial run.
What a difference, it was straight as a die in the slow lane .... i actually swayed side to side at 70mph to try and create a snake action but as soon as i straightened up the trailer just behaved itself superbly.
I would recomend this to anyone who pulls trailers or carravans, and it makes me think of the many times that i see accidents involving trailers and carravans that they may have been avoided with a little less speed and a stabiliser.
