Description
The Mountainlife Kids Apex mini patterned kids’ sleeping bag has an extreme temperature of 2C and a comfort temperature of 5C – 20C. The Apex mini kids’ sleeping bag is a 1-2 season sleeping bag and weighs under a kilo at 900g. The sleeping bag filling is hollow fibre and the sleeping bag also has a separate inner pocket. The kids’ sleeping bag is available in a green insect print and a bright pink spotty pattern.

We picked up the pink one for my very girlie 4 year old daughter. She loved the look of it. We'd been using an adult bag but she either overheated when slipping down or more often slipped out and got cold. We actually bought it from Mountain Warehouse for £15 while we were away.
The rest of the week she was snug and settled, slept much better and generally was very happy. We then used it on a 4 night trip at the end of the October and it coped well with overnight temperatures of around 2-5 degrees C. Not once did she ever complain she was cold in just her PJs.
For me it was £15 well spent. Not sure I'd have bought it at the full RRP or not, quite possibly. It rolls up to a nice small size as well so doesn't take up much room. I reckon she will get a good 5 years use out of it before she needs something bigger.
