A good Summer bag, but not as roomy as I would like.

The Vango Escape Double Sleeping Bag is not our favourite bag if I speak the truth. Don't get me wrong, we're pleased with it, but its not as good as our "2 x Royal Umbria 50oz" bags that we zip together. Maybe we've been spoilt, but there's less room in the "Escape Double" and its not as thick as the "Royal Umbria Bags". The outside of the bag is the shiny material and we found it slipped around a lot more.

So now we have the negative points out the way, I can add that we still like the bag and always use it in the summer. When its hot we turn it inside out and lay under it like a quilt cover, if it does drop unexpectedly cold we can climb in the bag to be warmer. The bag itself is quite light and packs away well into the stuff sac that its supplied with. The inner lining of the sleeping bag is a nice soft finish with a zip baffle to prevent draft and catching the zip. Whilst I don't shout this bag as a favourite from the roof tops, I do think its a good quality summer bag for a slim built couple just starting out at camping.

I've given it a 3, scoring it down on size and the fact that it does seem to slip a lot on its shiny outer surface.
