So the reference to this is from a blog post about keeping the kids entertained, but lets face it even some adults love their games. me personally Sony man.. PS One at first, then the PS2... errm actually no it was the original xbox until zac (2 at the time) decided that the grill heatsink on the sides was a cheese grater and it never worked again.. any way after that PS2 and now the super ps3! my wife on the other hand Has a DS originally she brought it for those brain training games but has since found her self playing many others Professor Layton being the flavour at the moment. The touch screen offers another dimension to many games although the blow into the microphone option is a little wierd? (you need to play on a game that has this to see what im talking about) But on the whole she loves it and it always comes camping with us! the kids are often found borrowing it also for pepapig.
So if its much loved why only a score of 3? well im a little partial to the Lego indian jones and lego starwars on it! (i know im such a child) and i find due to the nature of the layout of the controller after only a short period of time my thumbs really ache along with my wrists due to the weight balance. some will say this is a good thing as people or more importantly the kids would not play so long.. me personally think its a design error. but will say one that may not have been avoided being duel flip screen desing.
Still a great product though and one that is brilliant seller for nintendo.
