Fat Airic is a beast, you wouldn't really want to carry him around, but if you are going car camping it is the next best thing to your four poster bed!

They don't pack down too small
You mention double aibed takes up space, the airics roll up but are not tiny when packed away, they end up as a cyclinder about 15-20cm in diameter and 70cm long.
