Versatile and comfortable, the NEW Ohio XL sleeps from 5 to 7 persons. One of the truly outstanding features of this tent is its 3 + 2 inners which both have two doors each: one leading to the living area and the other to the walk-in wardrobe which separates them. A zip-curtain doorway leads from the living area directly into the walk-in wardrobe. To sleep 7 persons, the wardrobe can be replaced by an optional 2-berth inner. The NEW Ohio XL is made of Outtex® 5000 fabric, and is equipped with the Outwell Sealed Ground System for maximum floor protection. Summer breezes have easy access through the NEW front ventilation wall and the rear door. Other selling points include the large panorama windows with bottom-up curtains, the imaginative print exterior, and the colour-coordinated accessories. The wide front canopy – with its convenient rails for drying wet swimwear – adds the finishing touch to this remarkable and novel tent.

After a few years in our Trout Lake with perfect weather every time we finally became unlucky and found ourselves cold and cramped with the kids.. My wife about ready to give up on camping decided as much as we love our Trout Lake we need a bigger tent. So the search began which see us settle on the Ohio XL.
We have finally had the chance to test it out a few weekends and thought it was time to give some feedback.
Firstly pitching.. The tent is big! and not as easy to pitch as our Trout Lake, however we are getting better each time although we did have assistance from friends at our last weekend at Shell Island but that said we all grouped together on each tent due to the high winds. On the whole though it can be done with two people and I'm sure in time even when windy we will get it sorted.
As i said the the tent is huge! and we are loving the space! we use a 6ft Tressle table to put the kettle, toaster and other bits on.. its a big table but hardly eats into any of the space.
It gets warm inside under the sun! normal with this type of tent they just dont offer the coolness that you get from polly's but it is well vented and the doors are large and supplied with poles so they can be used as a small doorway canopy.
Its a 7 person tent or 5 person with wardrobe. I.e. you get an additional bedroom pod you can put in place of the wardrobe.
The wardrobe has a hanging rail which is very usefull and you get two further rails at the front under the canopy .
You have four large windows down one side which are floor to ceiling so offer plenty of light. the front door also has a large window and mesh so you can open for air but keep out bugs.
Very happy with our purchase and our only disapointment is thats its now discontinued so we are unable to get hold of the Awning for the front!
