Purchased as an extra stove for occasional use when on long journey to site and the mornings that we have have packed up the night before leaving just essentials out so we can sort out and leave early. We chose this stove over other portable stoves as it uses the same gaz canister that the Matching lamp uses (see review here) Very small and light ideal for those keeping things simple or like us a secondary backup. No matches required! which is great. Takes a little longer to bring the kettle to boil compared to our normal every day use stove but for our needs and light usage its ideal. Uses the CV 300 canister which is widley available in the UK. we found them also in french hypermarkets but not so easy in germany. however they are small and cheap and we travel with 3 all the time so we dont get caught out. it is not as stable as larger stoves or the flat ones that many people use the same applys to the pan supports they are not as large. for this reason i have marked down. however this is not a problem for us and had i been thinking about our needs only would have scored a 5! so top marks for this one :)
