The Lodge 6 Air proves that it is possible to accommodate a family of six in comfort at a very reasonable cost. Its tunnel design makes best use of floor space, and at well over 2m high allows you to stand upright throughout its length. The inner tent provides sleeping for six in three separate compartments, though you can unzip one of the walls if required for a 2+4 arrangement. A large front porch provides shelter from sun or rain. You can add to this space during the day by completely removing the front wall. An integrated floor made from tough, tape-sealed PVC reduces the spread of mud and grass into the sleeping compartments. There are several windows, lending a light and airy feel to the main living and storage area. The two doors also double as mesh ventilation panels to increase airflow. Pitching the Lodge is relatively simple thanks to the pre-shaped aluminium poles and ring-and-pin method of suspending the inner tent. The fly fabric is made from a highly breathable yet water-repellent Technical Cotton - a good choice for summer camping in warm climates. Convenience features include a large organiser in the inner tent, a zippered gate for campsite electric cables, separate stuffsacks for the various components, and two carry bags to help spread the load.
