Sorry, I did leave out Twitter, probably because I dont use it. Not sure but I believe you dont even need credit on your phone to use some of the services. The 600 texts also run over for 3 months, or 90 days as they call it.

I paid £29.99 for mine, which included 1 month connection.

Each top up cost's £10 a time and lasts for 1 month or 1Gb, which ever runs out first.

Its generally quite a good little unit and only took a few seconds to set up and get going, adding an additional months subscription was easy too. The signal was generally pretty good in the locations we have used it, but it is dependant on a signal like any mobile phone for it to work. The download speed is quite impressive when the signal is strong but if the signal does start dropping slightly it can get frustrating and become pretty useless.

There's also a slot on the side to allow a Micro SD card to be inserted and used as a card reader which is quite useful.

I don't like the fact that it runs out after a month, I feel that if you have purchased 1Gb for £10 then it should last as long as it takes for you to use 1Gb. I figure its a way to try and guarantee a £10 monthly income from you. On the upside, you don't have to pay every month, you just add £10 when you need to use it, for us this is during the summer months when camping and it then has no use during winter.

I wasn't sure how long 1Gb would last, and I was quite pleased after spending an hour looking at emails, surfing in-a-tent and The campingforum as well as adding to topics that I had only used about 30Mb. 1Gb does last quite well if your not trying to download/upload music or video. My daughter also uses it with her laptop to go on Facebook and MSN and because the 1Gb runs out after a month I don't get concerned about it being used to much, but rather encourage it to be used rather than lose some of our 1Gb.

When I brought it I didn't know much about The Broadband Dongles and I also thought it would have a WiFi option for connecting to a Wireless connection that some camp sites now offer. Whilst for most people this isn't a problem if you have a WiFi enabled PC, mine is old that I take camping and does not have a wireless connection. I have since brought a cheap WiFi Dongle for it, but just so you understand this Dongle will only connect through the 3 Network and does not support a wireless connection to any available networks on the camp site.

I suggest not topping the dongle up before arriving at a camp site, because if you get there and find there is no signal in that area from 3, you have wasted your money. If you really can't manage without a Broadband Dongle it might also be worth considering buying one from different networks too so you have a choice of available signals.

I have given it 3 out of 5 simply because of the fact the 1Gb is lost after 1 month and also because its only any good with a solid signal, a little unfair probably but if the signal is weak it's of no use.
