We opened up the process because we want the site to be useful to those looking for camping equipment. We know from experience that it's hard work researching camping products online as there is no single point of reference. That's the central problem we're hoping to solve. Be a central reference site for all camping equipment.

When we started out adding the camping products we were a little naive about the amount of equipment that was available. Having had the scale of the problem brought home to us quite forcefully since then we decided to open up the process of adding products to others.
