Satgear is having a Late Season Sale which, see our reader offers page for instructions on how you can access the unique discount code.

The sale lasts for three weeks, with discounts as follows:

Week 1 (28th September to 4th October) – 20% discount! – That's 20% off the already discounted prices on the site.

Week 2 (5th to 11th October) – 15% discount.

Week 3 (12th to 18th October) – 10% discount.

Satgear have some great portable satellite kits for campers and caravanners. Their quality is second to none and they are priced very attractively.  The kits are pre-assembled and pre-tuned to make setting up and getting a signal a fast and easy process.  Add to that the revolutionary new EasyFind system and you can be watching your favourite soap in next to no time (a bit sad really)!

The Satgear SK43 complete mini-kit (pictured left) won a What Satellite Gold Award in September’s issue It’s already on sale at £129.95, but you can get an extra £26 off for an amazing £103.95 price with the 20% discount.

If you’re venturing into Spain for winter, you could go for the SK78e kit (pictured right) which normally retails at £279.95, with the current sale price and the 20% discount you get it for £191.96 – that’s a big saving.

I think you'll find the comparison isn't quite right....

I don't think Maplin directly sell anything you see there actually.  You're probably referring to the Comag grey suitcase kit which they sell for £129?  We sell it for £129 (get it for £103 with the discount) and ours is the new Easyfind version which we got a What Satellite Gold award for in September - way better than the Maplin version.  Same with the Lidl and Aldi systems - they sell a badged version without any support and without Easyfind. No comparison. We supply proper instructions and full telephone support (which you won't get from Mapplin as they don't understand it or Aldi/Lidl because they don't have a support desk).  We also pretune each receiver and set it to the UK settings, so it's dead easy to get a signal straight off. All in all, I think Satgear wins hands down - but I would really :-)
