The nice people at Cool Camping tweeted about the Diablo earlier today and I thought it looked really cool, and well designed. I showed it to my OH and she pointed out we used to own something similar a few years back. It was if I recall correctly quite useful but a little cheap and nasty. The Diablo on the other hand looks really well made and sturdy.
Being able to make toasted sandwiches while camping would be really great as they are quick, easy, warm and filling. Then looking through the recipes I saw that you can also make apple pies in them. How brilliant! I also remember we used our old one to make omelettes. Finally it's only £20. I think we'll definitely be getting one for next year.
it just goes on the ring
you put a slice of bread on the bottom (buttered side down) pile in the filling, put second piece of bread on top (buttered side up) close it and put it on the stove/bbq/fire. Turn it over to cook both sides - that's it.
