Well it's been a while since our last trip, the long weekend at the end of May, but tomorrow we're off again, this time for a whole week. It'll be our longest trip so far, the furthest from home and our first time camping solo. Just in case you were doubting our novice status.

We're taking a few extra things this time. It'll be the first outing for our windbreak, I'm not really sure about the etiquette of windbreaks but I'm sure we'll work it out. We're going to borrow a camp kitchen as we still haven't got around to buying one. The one we're borrowing is more like the one we're after, not the same one we borrowed last time. It'll also be the first real test of our camping stove.

As I posted recently we'll be trying to keep various phones and gadgets charged up so we can keep in touch and to help keep the kids amused. On that note it's the first time I'll get to try out my new phone's ability to get useful information while we're camping. Apart from that things will be pretty much the same, same huge tunnel tent with footprint and carpet to keep us warm and dry, our Airics and Ready Beds to sleep on, cheap camping chairs to sit on, picnic table to eat on and the trailer to put it all in. We'll report back when we return - obviously.
