We have a trailer to carry our camping kit around in but it's not quite as hi-tech as the Sylvan Sport. When I first saw their website I couldn't work it out. How did you carry your camping gear with no real sides, did everything have to go in the little box on the front? Surely not.
After watching the video on the site it all became clear. The tent is packed very snugly into the trailer's lid. When packed away it leaves the trailer free for carrying outdoor pursuits gear - canoes, bikes, motorbikes etc.
Packed away in that tiny lid? Surely not, there can't be a tent in there? Well yes there is and a clever one too.
Firstly you raise the lid, using the extending legs at the side of the trailer and then tent unfurls from under the lid, filling the space in the centre of the trailer.
It makes our little erde 143 seem rather pathetic in comparison then again it was only £350 (or thereabouts) rather then the $6,195 that the Sylvan Sport costs. Yes that's US dollars as you can't get a SylvanSport in the UK either (they're available in the US, Holland and Germany if you're interested)
