We left a few things behind last time we went away (including our big lantern), so we decided to make a list (and check it twice) this time. Then I thought it might be useful to share our list, so I've made it slightly less personal to give a general list of what you might want to take on a camping trip.
To be clear this is just our list, it's not a definitive list and there are probably several items on it you don't need and other things missing that you find essential. So here it is.

packing up
One benefit of camping is how easy it is to make sure you take everything home!
There are no cupboards to check; no beds to look under; once you have loaded your car and trailer, a quick look round ensures that nothing is forgotten.
