As you might have noticed the site has a new look and some new features.

Underneath we have a whole new platform that the site is now built on. We've been working on that for the last few weeks and it's the reason why there hasn't been any new content on the site for a while, sorry.

We will be extending the new platform and adding more features to the site over the coming weeks and months but some are already in place.

Firstly we have more blogs, as well as the Novice Campers (that's us) we've now got a blog by The Camping Forum Guy and one containing occasional posts form the guys at Aquapac.

Next we have product descriptions, all the products we mention now have their own page with a description, RRP, reviews and comments. Each product also lists related products and blog posts.

Users each have a dedicated page now, with their profile and social networking links on which they can edit.

Finally we've added a rudimentary product search.
