The new range of Alpkit geodesic mountain tents have arrived at Alpkit GHQ and are now available for sale. The hotly anticipated range comprises three models based around a common series of design criteria and high quality components. Every tent is structured around a geodesic pole configuration offering unrivaled space vs overall strength. The outer fabric is a 40D Ripstop PU/Siliconised Nylon, chosen for its lightness, strength and resistance to UV. The nylon groundsheet has a PU coating of 10,000mm to resist ingress of moisture. Throughout the tent are subtle features designed to make campsite life easier. Rated hang tabs and pockets throughout the inner make sure you can keep your equipment where it is needed. Multiway zips, storage tabs and pockets make the doors the most versatile available.
The three models on sale now are:
The 4 pole geodesic design maximises the poles strength to weight ratio whilst offering spacious internal space. The 40D Sil Nylon will defend against the worst weather the mountains can throw at you whilst still being light enough to carry.
An extremely versatile 3 person geodesic mountain tent designed to make your life in the mountains more pleasurable. The most striking feature of the tent is the central spreader bar which splits the geodesic shape of the tent and increases the internal living space without adversely compromising external strength.
‘Accommodating’ sums up the Heksa in one word!
