Well the saga moves on, the Fat Airics came back into stock at AlpKit yesterday so, after lots of general faffing around, we have ordered 2 Chilli coloured ones for £80. We will report on what they are like after they arrive. 

So now I can start to look at roofboxes. We've pretty much decided against a trailer due to the added expense of a towbar. We've had a review for a roofbox submitted recently which has given me some things to keep in mind during my research.
