Well our camping season is officially over now. We've just emptied the trailer tent and packed it away into the garage for the winter. All the sleeping bags, bedding, both awnings, the mattresses and bedrooms have all been squirreled away in the house.
My plan to store the mattresses under our bed was scuppered when I was reminded it had a fifth leg. So the mattresses are up in the attic and the awnings are under our bed. This is quite a good compromise as the awnings are quite heavy and would have been hard to lug up the attic stairs (which are quite steep). Also under our bed are the cushions and our one remaining self-inflating mat (unrolled with it's valves open). The rest of the bedding and the bedrooms are up in the attic.
We've also emptied the food (tea bags, jars of sauce, cereal etc) out of the kitchen. We contemplated getting all of the plates and pans out too but decided we'd leave them in there. They are all clean and dry so should be fine and will be washed before our first trip next year wherever we kept them.
So that's us packed away for the winter, time to get on with all of those winter projects I've been putting off all summer.
Good point
Good point Rob, going to lay mine out
