We're not dog owners but lots of people who camp are. One of the bits of kits a camping dog owner usually has some sort of tether to stop Rover or Fido from wandering around the campsite at will. I thought there was only one type of tether you could buy, the corkscrew type, which in theory look really good.

However having seen two lots of dog owners fails to get the corkscrew into the ground. The last time I saw someone have problems they snapped the corkscrew off because they had to use a lever to get it into the ground.

So it's interesting to see that there is an alternative from Delta, the people who make Delta Ground Anchors. Given how strong their ground anchors are I assume the dog tether is pretty strong too.

Crucially there is no corkscrew rather 3 long pegs that go in at an angle and hold the tether in place so it should be an awful lot easier to use. I will be keeping an eye out for anyone using one in the future to see how well they perform 'in the field'.
