We've just had a great weekend in Thetford Forest at the Dower House site and while we were there spotted this funky little caravan. It looks about big enough for a double bed but not much more, and that pop-up bit I guess gives some head room.

Not unsurprisingly the towcar was a classic VW Beetle. I love this kind of funky stuff you get on campsites, it made me smile each time a wandered past it to the toilets. It's certainly far more fun than the plethora of off-white plastic modern caravans that were also on the site.

Long live the tradition for something a tad different while camping I think we should all embrace it a little (or a lot) it certainly brightens the day of your fellow campers.
