The best places to pitch your tent and enjoy a relaxing outdoors break are to be named by Cotswold Outdoor this summer, with the nationwide retailer launching a search for the best campsites in the UK. The Cotswold Outdoor Britain's Best Campsites scheme aims to identify the country's top camping spots, with a panel of experts contributing their views alongside votes from the general public.

With the rise of holidaying in the UK, more people than ever before are discovering the wealth of amenities the country's campsites have to offer. The Cotswold Outdoor Britain's Best Campsites scheme will recognise the sites with the best locations and the ones that are leading the way with their on-site facilities and customer service. The campsites in question could have amazing views, well-allocated pitches or great entertainment making them worthy of a place in the spotlight in this nationwide search.

Campers and caravanners alike can put forward their favourite sites at www.cotswoldoutdoor.com/community . The nominations will then be assessed by an expert panel including representatives from Cotswold Outdoor, VisitEngland and Scotland Outdoors magazine, with the top 30 campsites being selected in June. Those that make the grade will be included on a Britain's Best Campsites map on cotswoldoutdoor.com, and will also receive a certificate and a digital badge for their own website.
