A week or so before Christmas there was the first mention in our house of planning camping trips for the new year and it wasn't me mentioning it. In fact I was the one suggesting that perhaps we should get Christmas done with first, which is what happened in the end.

Well Christmas and New Year are out of the way now there was no excuse and (again not prompted by me) we seem to have settled on our first trip. We're off to Lincolnshire with the rest of the family group for May Day Bank Holiday again. It feels a bit odd planning a camping trip when there is snow on the ground outside and last night was one of the coldest ever recorded. Let's hope the weather improves and the temperature rises a little (actually a lot).

I guess this means we're back in the swing again. Oh I need to fix the tent poles and buy a mallet! So much to do, so little time.
