A few months back a few forum members eagerly awaited the arrival of Camping magazine.... Why? because of the Shell Island review.. Rob (from the forum) had spoke of it often and in fact was banned from mentioning for a while.. So with a Shell Island campout fast approaching the review was going to offer some insight.. however that was not to be! The review although interesting was more about the local area than Europe's biggest campsite! It was at that point that I vowed after our Shell visit to provide a review that would offer that insight to others.
February again and it was time for the annual outing (sounds so grand!) to the Boat and Caravan Show and with a few of us from the forum, including Andy from here, planning on meeting up around noon we weren't going to be getting much of a lie in this year! (Usually when the boys are at my parents overnight we end up taking advantage and getting to these sorts of events later in the day lol).
Rob, one of the "Camping Forum Guys" said the best way to keep warm in the colder months was to "Stay at Home and watch TV". Rob was joking of course and relishes a challenge whatever the weather but he might have a valid point if you find yourself waking at 3am shivering in your sleeping bag.
